Caroline Ringuet (Innovation)

Caroline Ringuet is interested in the role of technology in sport and how it can help the sports Community. Caroline works in the area of technology innovation need assessment in high performance sport, and is currently working with the Queensland Academy of Sport and Danny James on the "Coaching Needs for Sport Science Technology Innovation" project.
 
Caroline's research focus is on optimising athlete personal development and performance within elite sport systems. With the support of the IOC, she conducted high performance need assessments and analyses in eight countries.
 
She is also interested in community sport development, women in sport, and health and physical activity promotion, and has worked as a consultant to professional sporting organisations and international sport organisations (such as the IOC, IAAF, and QRU), as well as government sport and recreation departments (such as NSW Government Department of Sport and Recreation).
